1. Service

Tavlino (tavlino.promptolook.com) is operated by Keenvo Tech OÜ, registered in Estonia (17457927), Kotkapoja tn 2a-10, 10615 Tallinn, Estonia ("we", "us"). Advertising, traffic acquisition, and monetization services are provided by ActiveView OÜ, registered in Estonia (16639782), Kotkapoja tn 2a-10, Tallinn 10615, Harju, Estonia. By using Tavlino you agree to these terms.

Tavlino is a Promptolook game: free online backgammon in your browser. You can play AI opponents at seven levels, play real people online or through an invitation link, solve a daily position, and appear on ratings and leaderboards. We may add, change or retire features, levels and cosmetic items at any time.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in codes secure and for activity under your player record. Tavlino is open to players 13 or older; if you are under the age of majority where you live, play with the permission of a parent or guardian.

3. Plans and billing

Tavlino is free to play and supported by advertising, including optional rewarded videos that give an in-game item. You can buy the Supporter status: a single, one-time payment. It is not a subscription and never renews or charges you again.

Supporter status removes ads on every device where you sign in with the email address used for the purchase, for as long as we operate Tavlino, and adds the benefits listed on the Supporter page at the time of purchase (such as unlimited hints, full game analysis and the gold board). It gives no advantage in rated play and is personal: it cannot be transferred.

The price is shown before you pay and is the price you pay. Prices vary by country and region, and we may show different prices while we test them; a later change never affects a completed purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe; taxes are included where the law requires.

Supporter status is digital content delivered immediately. If you live in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from purchases of digital content; at checkout you ask us to deliver the Supporter status right away and acknowledge that you lose that right once delivery has started.

4. Refunds

Because Supporter status is delivered immediately, the purchase is final once delivered, except where the consumer law of your country gives you other rights. For billing questions, contact support.

5. Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the service, other players or its ads; do not scrape, resell or automate access; and do not use Tavlino to harass anyone. The fair-play rules below apply to every game. We may suspend players who violate these terms.

6. Games, ratings and fair play

AI opponents are computer programs. They are always labelled AI, we never present an AI as a person, and games against the AI never change ratings or human leaderboards. Online dice are generated on our servers and can be verified after each match; dice in AI games are rolled on your device.

Tavlino has no wagers, no purchasable currency and no prizes. Ratings, experience, stars, streaks, achievements and cosmetic items have no monetary value and cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for money.

Play fairly and for yourself. In online matches do not use bots, analysis software, another person's help, modified clients or several accounts; do not lose on purpose or arrange results to move ratings; and do not abuse reports. Display names must not impersonate others or be offensive. The server checks every online move with the rules engine. We may reset ratings, remove results from leaderboards, rename or suspend players who break these rules.

7. Disclaimer

Tavlino is provided "as is" for entertainment, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the game will always be available or free of errors, that a match will never be interrupted, or that ratings and progress will be kept if we reset a season, a rating system or a feature.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tavlino and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including decisions made based on information shown in the app.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or attempt to defraud us or our partners.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time and will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Tavlino after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to them or to the use of Tavlino, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Harju County, Tallinn, Estonia. If you are a consumer, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection provisions, or of the right to bring proceedings in the courts, of your country of residence.
